What happens when you want deeper connection, but your life is already asking so much of you?
Maybe you want closer friendships. Maybe you are hoping for partnership. Maybe you want relationships that feel more authentic, reciprocal, and meaningful. At the same time, you may be caring for children, supporting aging parents, managing work and family responsibilities, showing up for other people, and simply trying to keep up with the demands of everyday life.
You want connection, but you are tired. You want to show up fully, but sometimes there isn’t much left to give. You may even know many of the things that would help you feel better: more rest, better nourishment, movement, time outside, creativity, music, meaningful connection, or simply more time to yourself. But knowing and practicing are two different things.
That’s part of why I created the Embodiment Practice Group.
Embodiment is a 10-week coaching, educational, and experiential practice group for people who want to know themselves more deeply, adequately fuel and care for themselves, connect with others, and become more intentional about how they live and relate.
Over the ten weeks, we’ll explore who we are at this point in our lives, what we value, where our energy is going, what our bodies need from us, and what helps us feel restored, connected, engaged, and alive. We’ll also have space to consider the kinds of relationships we want to cultivate and how we participate in creating them.
We’ll explore eight core areas that help fuel the bodies and nervous systems doing all of this living: sleep, nutrition, rest, nature, play and creativity, movement, rhythm and music, and connection with ourselves and others.
But Embodiment isn’t just about learning more information. It’s about practice. Each week includes a little teaching, conversation and shared experience, and opportunities to actually practice what we’re exploring. And you’ll be doing that alongside other people who are practicing, too.
Because sometimes what we need isn’t another thing to accomplish by ourselves. Sometimes we need a place to refuel, learn, connect, and practice becoming more intentional about how we want to live.
The Embodiment Practice Group meets online for 10 weeks at $45 per session. The Wednesday cohort begins October 7 from 5:00 PM EST- 6:15 PM EST & 11:00 AM–12:15 PM HST and the Saturday cohort begins October 10 from 10:00–11:15 AM EST.
Embodiment is NOT psychotherapy or a psychotherapy group. It is a coaching, educational, and experiential practice space.
Know yourself. Fuel yourself. Cultivate how you want to live.
be well,
Ellen
