Make something. Meet someone. See what happens!
Looking to meet new people, make friends, expand your social circle, or maybe even spark a little romance? Or perhaps you’re simply ready to get out of the house and try something different?
Art & Connect is coming to Virginia this winter!
Join us for fun, casual, 90-minute creative workshops where art becomes a way to start conversations, share a few laughs, and discover connections along the way.
Three Creative Series to Explore!
Each creative series includes three 90-minute, hands-on workshops, offering opportunities to explore new art forms, enjoy meaningful conversations, and build connections with others along the way.
I. NOTICING — See Things Differently
Explore photography and cyanotype printing while discovering the beauty in everyday moments. Get curious, notice something new, and see what happens when we look at the world—and one another—from a different perspective.
II. HANDCRAFTING — Make Something Meaningful
Get your hands busy with clay, wire-tree making, and other creative projects. Explore the art of making, mending, and experimenting while enjoying conversation, laughter, and the occasional happy accident!
III. NATURE ART — Get Creative with Nature
Bring the outdoors into your creative experience through pressed flowers, natural materials, and nature-inspired projects. Explore the beauty of the natural world while making something uniquely yours.
No Experience? No Problem!
You don’t need to be an artist. Seriously! This isn’t about making a masterpiece. It’s about having fun, trying something new, and enjoying the company of others.
Come solo, bring a friend, or come hoping to make one (or two!).
No pressure. No awkward networking. Just creativity, conversation, and the possibility of something wonderful.
